Dystopia
In a monochrome world phantom like and blurry, days and nights undecided dancing between twilight and darkness red blurs when rays pierce the clouds for the sun died in a distant moon wretched substitutes for man and beast drag themselves across a wasteland law and order are long since gone animal instincts rule in its place and horned toads and lizards the inhabitants of once proud cities below the surface sewer rats abound we eat them and they eat us when we stop moving long enough other mutations stir in the echoes humanoid perhaps, but no one knows survival of the fittest fueling a twisted Darwinian nightmare Yet through a pavement polished by man, beast and monster life unhindered, forcing upward still braving acid rain and caustic winds to a lonely poisonous sky in this world without seasons as an epitome of determination an unrelenting ray of hope a hue that puts gold to shame amidst all this ungodly gloom far beyond all expectation a single flower blooms
