on egyption cotton, memories 
remain of night's passion 
two bodies spent 
 
Sweet breath mingling as 
awakening awareness and 
sleep heavy limbs reach for 
a soft warm embrace 
 
Whisper soft kisses on eyelids 
lingering on pulsing temple 
trailing nibbles along jawline 
rest suggestively at mouth corners 
 
Fluttering eyelids open 
smile falters with a sob 
reality dreams on
