Earth's Breath
Shamrock pastures gleaming in the sun, Relax on the grass, while little sister runs, Trees crowd around the edges of terrain, Leaves drip from yesterday’s morning rain, Beyond the land, mountains sour in the sky, She lays on the blanket and closes her eyes, Clouds float above rigid mountainous escapes, Earthly skyscrapers are now distant shapes There’s an unknown spirituality in these lands. I might always seek it, but I’ll never understand.
