Electronic Future
I have an electronic future Gives me hope of its existence Tragically cold but so warm to me Lived a thousand lives in comparison Makes me feel small Imperfect calculations have failed it And I am happy The 'right now' and the touch mean nothing Values, thoughts, feelings..it shouldn't have Plans, goals, almost forbidden I'm proud of it I crave all of it Touch me and show me how it should be Process every particle of my brain Take over my insides like a virus Give me its energy Unplug the chords and come with me No more ties to the dark room It will be mine because I want it I will have my electronic future

I write poetry when I want to express a feeling I have and do not have a verbal outlet. I am a CPA for a large bank. Divorced, with a 2 year old son. I ride dirt bikes every weekend. Not much more too me than that.
