Element Man

There was a man Who went by the name of Zeek And when he was in high school Everybody thought that he was a geek Every single day people would make fun of him As he walked the halls They would shove him into lockers And slam him into walls He was always being picked on And he had no luck with the girls He sat by himself everyday at lunch Like an oyster with no pearl But that was in high school He is a grown man now However what was about to happen Was going to happen faster than you could say Ow! So on one hot summer day As he was driving home from work He noticed that in front of him There was a huge pile of dirt So he tried to swerve around it But there was a car in his way So his car ended up in the air But was it by fate? He tried to say a prayer However it was too late His car finally landed really hard on the ground And started spinning out of control Knocking every single car out of the way Until he crashed into an electric pole An electric current surged through his body and throughout the car Then the pole fell down Shocking Zeek and everyone else That was around As Zeek slowly faded out His head began to feel Very heavy and sore And the last thing that he saw Was two swinging metal doors By Glenn McCrary © 2009 Glenn McCrary (All rights reserved)
