Emergency (a dream)

Wordplaya gave us a challenge to ‘write our dreams’ before I became so very ill. I had begun, never to finish. Well, I can’t leave anything unfinished so worked on them until They were done. They are silly, but I don’t dream about neat things anymore. Emergency It was a dire emergency I had to use the phone. I picked it up and tried to call, But found no dial tone. I pushed the buttons frantically, But some could not be found The numbers that weren’t missing, Kept moving all around. It seemed that I spent hours, Just trying to connect. When suddenly I realized My fingers on his neck. IlaMae Stucki (c) 4/28/10

I am a Registered Nurse.. I have loved writing for as far back as I can remember. My first writing was experienced by drawing as a child. In 7th grade I wrote a poem about Abraham Lincoln that won an award and was read on the radio in Salt Lake City....
