Emotional Rollercoaster

Last night I dreamt you were gone to a distant place I searched for you endlessly, but you left no trace. I felt so abandoned and my heart immensely wounded The damage you have caused me is deeply rooted. I reach out for your loving arms to embrace me tight But I know that you are not near, nowhere in sight. My nights are getting longer and I can't go to sleep I can't figure out what to do, I am feeling so weak. As the night passes and the daylight appears I keep searching for you but my desire disappears My reason for living seems to be forever gone All hope starts to dwindle and my faith is sawn I can't try much harder, I've accepted my defeat No light at the end of the tunnel, I am incomplete. But I must recover from this emotional rollercoaster I can't wait for this nightmare to be finally over. In life we encounter traumatic events and sometimes they have a major impact in our lives. Some events will disable us but others will enable us. These events will help us move on and ultimately make us stronger.
