EMPTY
Empty There’s a hole in my soul And I can’t fill it up Not drugs and booze or shopping and clothes Religion and Yoga Not Money and jobs Novels and poems Short stories, prose Neither Love nor sex or what comes next Neither food nor gardening Among other things It’s always still there For all to see And I wear it like my badge of hypocrisy this hole in my soul will never heal and it always leaves me Empty WordPlaya March 22, 2010
