"Enchanted" (version II)*** since dawn thought I could do better :) Lean against me forest On this windy evening When the sun swallows the horizon Gulps in the day Don’t let me feel the cold Don’t! I will stay Even when cold slips onto my bones And the moon surrenders her light I will be here So pull up your sleeves shadow On this silent evening When the stars harness their hunger Suckle in the night Don’t let me fear the loneliness Don’t! I will stay Even if moments are like the watery brook Crashing down cliff side, stalling in shimmering pool I will be here So rise up to greet me meadow On this breathless morning When the moon swallows the horizon Gulps in the night Don’t wrestle with my feelings Don’t! I will stay Enchanted (version 1)***for those who wish to see where I came fromLean against me forestOn this windy eveningWhen the sun swallows the horizonGulps in the dayDon’t let me feel the coldDon’t!I will stayI will stay and watchEyes brimming with more than fascinationMore meaning than thatBut I mustn’t stay foreverI can’t foreverEven if the moments are like the watery brookCrashing down cliff side, stalling in shimmering poolThere is an endLike therewasa beginningBut off with you – reason!I am free in this placeOf reasonThere is no timeThere is no tick-tockNo chime to wake meNo bed timeJust the day becoming nightA starry night to keep me companyTo keep me enchantedEven when the cold and the wind shivers my bonesAnd the moon surrenders her lightI will be thereI will stayEyes brimming with more than fascinationMore meaning than thatBut I mustn’t stay foreverI can’t forever
