(ummmm not much to say about this one i like the theme but the write is rather detached, but I think it adds to the allure of the read, anywho... yule is upon us soon, cheers to the other humbags around, delightful dreams and nervous nightmares as always Vamp) Endless War He saw it in his hindsight, Who would win the fight. The army that he led had never been so strong, But.. karma was upon their heels. What they'd done was wrong. Killing for an unjust lord, Pillaging the earth, Their downfall only waited. A new monarch would give birth, The defeat of a cavalry. Death would see it through, Sleeping around their fires. The men had never knew, That the winning men were nearing. About to end the war, And overthrow a power hungry king. Bloodlust wins a battle, That wasn't really fair. The dead are buried, And a God's man says a prayer. Celebration follows, Peace is almost felt. But tyranny prevails, One man with absolute power. The common will ignored, Another war nears with every hour. -Sept 06 Sheena Allen
