Enduring Never Ends

Enduring never ends Enduring discomfort…even intense pain, for the desire to be a mother. Waiting, wanting, weary, yearning to hold your infant daughter. The sun shone bright outside that cold January morning. A sign of hope for a new family. Certainty, thatnew life waspresent and waiting... Asyou traveled to the hospital you smiled... You lay there in raw, open agony. Already suffering what was to come. Walking through the valley of death, for the love of your little girl. The room became hushed… except for your sobbing. Everyone shuffled around silently. You could hear the clock ticking, ticking, ticking. It was over, done...there was no cry. No screaming child, No magical music to your ears. Nothing to fill your hopingheart with joy. No small infant placed upon your chest. No looking into the babe’s bleary eyes. Nothing but… "I’m so sorry, she didn’t make it". Time will not erase your sorrow or your pain... . your constant faith will dim it. Search valiantly for harrowinghope, She will certainly be waiting for you there... I am a Registered Nurse.. I have loved writing for as far back as I can remember. My first writing was experienced by drawing as a child. In 7th grade I wrote a poem about Abraham Lincoln that won an award and was read on the radio in Salt Lake City....
