Entry of an Insomniac
I ama broken being, Raped into insomnia, The nadir ofmy swing Slipping from the rope. Evil takes the earth, The meek are shoved aside. The pure now gives birth To filthy, tainted hands. My nocturnal state of mind Torments my dreadful view. Request my head be kind, And sends me forty winks. Imploring for some sanity, Or sweet surreal bliss. Anything but calamity Let me fade into the mist.
