Eventually
Hope is like a drug It puts you on a high Then drops you down So that you're worse off than you were before When you have nothing left to cling to You cling to hope And hold on to the belief That the sun will come out again Someday If all your dreams are crushed And you're barely hanging on You turn to hope Hope for yourself and for others You hope that you'll pull through And you know that you will Somehow Hope can paint pictures Of the good times to come You can almost taste the freedom Waiting for you around the next bend You know it's there Somewhere Just as long as you hope You'll find a way Someday, somewhere, somehow Your sun will come out Eventually...
