Everyday Journey
This piece begins with a door slam percussion, Then the vehicle choir rasps into focus, On comes the Harmonies of birdsong, and people's rawcuss. My own footsteps add to the symphony, As I start on my odyssey, Taking in each sound as it comes to me. Then the cymbal-like hiss of the bus door crescendos, It closed cueing an eerie almost-silence around us. Many bars pass and then the cymbal again sounds, prompting a second chorus to start, More pronounced by the previous piano'd audio dance, And filled with the cities standard sibilence. As I enter the building and the noise is restrained, The musical symphonic journey comes... ...To a gradual fade.
