Everything
I had everything when I had you, Now that you're gone I don't know what to do. As I cry your name and shed your tears I then remember You won't appear There's no shoulder I can cry on, No hand for me to hold. No one to tell me, I'm too young or too old No one can take, The bruises away; Tell me everything's alright, And I'll be okay And I'll lay my head on your shoulder While your head rubs my back, I'll cry so hard, My tears are like boulders I feel your warm breath, As you whisper in my ear, You're saying, "Don't worry. Granny's right here." I'll cherish the days From before you went away; And pray that I'll see you, Soon; Someday I had everything, When I had you; Now that you're gone, All I can do is Miss You
