Everything Burns
You live You die. To the earth you make your returns. Years and Years go by, But in the end, Everything Burns. You yearn and yearn, for the cycle to end. You pray and pray to be clean. For You, Fire is a Heaven Send. For, next to fire, nothing is more pristine. Longing for something warm and kind, In return you gain Fire's loving Caress, When waiting for it, you to find, You slide on your good shoes & your best dress. Happy with the love it leant. Surprised it took you so long to learn, And now you sigh lightly with content. In the End, As we knew, You burn. by Miranda Lynn Pomar
