Everything Changes
A sudden light Darkens these eyes A reality to fight A love undefined. Everything Changes The world as it is Is nothing as it seems It moves on for right Or for wrong. Stationed in the night The light out sight Holding on to a tear A memory burns bright. Everything Changes Like salt in an open wound For better or for doom Uncertain of its creation Over darkness a shadow looms. A crushing loss Gripping tight To the faintest shot To the soothing sight. Everything Changes Nothing as it was Everything is The expense of the cost A Hero now is lost. Everything Changes The world as it is Is all that it seems And nothing as it was Everything to be.
