Exit
Changes , for we became change itself Predictable, we weren’t the same It’s not alike that was the snag, your lack of self became my drag I had to move, or fade away That was the reason you could not stay If I don’t change, I’m left undone Where I am now cannot be wrong You walked with me, subsequently Not next to or beside of me You followed me and let me lead, this trailing guise was not discreet At times I grew, and so you learnt The journey up left fingers burnt If I don’t move, I’m left fatigued Where I am now cannot be reached Each time I turned to check the rope You tightened, jerked me down your slope I hauled and tugged, my hands did bleed, the weight you left, severe indeed The path I walked could not expand With boundaries set from your demands If I did not leave as I have done The road for two would work for none
