Eyes

A pair of eyes now fixed on mine - I creep across the room; I move and watch his head incline - What thoughts can I assume? And not a word to me is spoken - His looks no thoughts betray; His piercing eyes so sharply open - Still fixed – unblinking they. What’s in his mind? He only knows - And little does he care; He yawns - his eyes now slowly close - And gone his lordly air. Now I hear a gentle purr As I stroke his silky fur This poem is not meant to be profound in any way, but for any depth you do find I shall be very pleased!

Love creativity - especially writing - poems especially. Love my wife, cats, our church, reading, warm weather (so rare here!) and snow - quite common these days - even in spring....
