Fall
Light up the incense of the sky A sparkling band of flickering wings Equatorial breezes and furnace winds The moon’s cycloptic gaze Leaves scattering in the mid air Salt spray winds and canyons everywhere My private pew with the amazing view Deep drawn murmurs and heart aching sighs The dizzy dancing and dismal daze The conquering of hills and mountains The astonishing dusk and return of dawn The light that paints lines of my face The calendar marks October but it feels June And the Ferris wheel brings me closer to the moon The amber gray of morning light Sinfully awaiting the toils of night How swift we conquer continents Tell lies Hide truths How swift we enter the rooms Of the unknowns Of the unfathomed How swift we decide To be Been How far have your hands travelled From coast to coast From breast to toes From hair follicles to the cavity vulva From kisses to brushes to embraces To a life yet uncharted I stand and I Fall
