Oh, so lovely it does show 
 
 
In my blushed cheeks thou dost glow 
 
 
 
When first my eyes succumbed to thee 
 
 
 
Felt did I just like the sea 
 
 
 
For you my sun had set on me 
 
 
 
What better way could you I praise 
 
 
 
Would set ablaze your heart today 
 
 
 
than this poem's words I say 
 
 
 
So for you these thoughts I pen 
 
 
 
The love you brought to me I’ll send 
 
 
 
Back to thee my dearest friend 
 
 
As I the earth and you the tree 
 
 
 
And the wind my poetry 
 
 
 
That bends your limbs, shakes your leaves
