To my sister,Lizeka Bikitsha, who passed away on the 8th October 2005. She used to fly up in the sky With her wings spread wide Flying through the clouds She could touch the stars Now… In the morning, the birds are no longer singing The sun is no longer shining We’re no longer smiling There’s always a lot of crying Whenever she entered a room She would light up the entire house Her presence brought joy to our hearts She was, she is and always will be, one of a kind I hope wherever she is, she’s happy She’s resting in peace There’s a smile on her beautiful face She’s in the most harmonistic place She’s in heaven with God Resting on the chest of Abraham Just like Lazarus With angels all around Rest In Peace, Lizzy. © Zukisa Bikitsha. 2005. As far as I can remember, istarted writing poetry when I was able to take pen and pen and scribble something. At that time, of course, I wasn\'t that aware of the power of what I was scribing. I met guys of McJurni's calibre, they resurrected that...
