Falling Away
A red sun was bleeding, The organ of sanity found within day light Broke the ethereal mirror that had shun love beneath the skin. And now everything is falling through this embodiment of heaven, Bathing in this soulless, dark husk of glass. And these shards: They reflect memories That manifest as regret while I am mortally falling away from your truth, Falling into a timeless void where my perception holds authority. Behold: This face that now holds no expression To show the emotions from a fantastic tale wherein I am falling into you; These eyes that have no colour to see a depth you never had.
