Fantasy Town X
The movie finally ended Sugar’s face was tear streaked Bob wiped her tears For her sadness he felt weak He asked her if she enjoyed the movie She said “Yes It wasn’t quite what I expected The plot I never would have guessed.” Bob said “Sugar listen Now that the movie is finished I would like to treat you to dinner In an effort to make all that’s bothering you diminish And then maybe even possibly Rent a hotel room Don’t worry baby I’ve already made a reservation for two.” Bob said “We’ll go to a restaurant of your choice.” Sugar said “Awww… that’s so sweet of you I knew that you would come through.” So Sugar and Bob got back in the glider And to the restaurant they were on their way For Bob and Sugar it seemed like It was going to be a wonderful day Bob asked Sugar what restaurant That she wanted to go to She said “Let’s go To the beer cube.” Bob said “You just love to drink beer don’t you?” Sugar said “Don’t worry I know my limits But enough of this chit chat It’s time to get back into the spirit.” The glider finally arrived At the beer cube Bob said “Sugar do you want anything to eat?” She said “No I just want a couple of beers.” Bob said “Okay But that sounds a little weird.” So Bob paid for Sugar’s drinks And then they left They arrived at the hotel And into the room they checked Bob said “Now Sugar wait There is a surprise for you inside So I’m going to need you To patiently wait outside.” He then kissed Sugar Gently on the lips For this was certainly a moment That he did not want her to miss Five minutes later Bob opened the door Sugar then walked in and there was a trail of roses Spread out on the floor To the left side of the room there was a dining table Along with two empty glasses and a bottle of wine Bob said “I just want you to myself Sugar And tonight you are all mine.” Sugar said “Bob this is really beautiful.” Bob said “It should be I’m pouring my heart out like hell.” Sugar said “Shut up and kiss me you fool.” Then she pushed him and onto the bed they fell By Glenn McCrary © 2009 Glenn McCrary (All rights reserved)
