Far From Over (The World is Still Here)

The world is still here, its people still searching. The meaning still argued, and science still puzzled. It’s not all discovered, much is still bare. It’s not all decided, there is much still unclear. Animals are still mystery, and space still goes on. There are songs yet to be played, and books yet to be written. There are shows waiting to be created, and inventions waiting to be dreamt. The world is still here, its people still hurting. Wars are still waging, and lives are still trampled. Lies are still spread, guns are still fired. Its guessers still leading and its thinkers still hushed. There is still much corruption, and still so much greed. There are still many captives, and still many slaves. There is still a lot of snootiness and ignorance too. There are still a lot of cowards, and still a lot of pricks. There are still many labels being carefully hidden. There is still a lot of oppression being carefully covered up. The world is still here, there are people still caring. There are still orphans to be loved, and widows to be comforted. There are naked to be clothed and starving to be fed, There is ignorance to overcome and discrimination to obliterate. Compassion to be implemented, and the Golden Rule to be followed.
