FATHER OF ALL DESIRES

Receiving everyone's vote, war against war we fought With battle weapons not yet realized We watched the moon compete with the murk Before we gathered in patches behind the scene To grumble of rampant miscarriage of justice Though, we know the fate of the living; Remedy seeking for remedy. Our footpath we’ll retrace to the hovel of our birth To search, if we could find, whether good clues exist. Where we had, eyes-closed, shed tears, innocently At arrival corridors of life. Yet, still-ponds in tinted eyes Wait till outbreak for outpour and dreams half paralyzed Endure with fear the fear of fears. Fair sinners sought miracle of request, save your cheap tears; While our heart is still fuelled and useful We’ll purchase fame with noises, eat cooked leaves And drink from the rain our liquid of gladness Cause for years beyond, to this shackles we’ll yet be bound Like that noontime before the end of the eclipse We struggle against twin warriors – fate and fear. Tonight in our momentary demise shall the reminder Again be brought, the Judge refuses amendment; No amnesty international, no world court intervention. The cold we shall give a rule; do not touch the children Though they wobble and wriggle in the late rain And bow after the rain for the rainbow yet, they are against Herbal torture and pills free their souls of desire. Sins, since forgiven re-hunt conscience But we are shackled hands and legs to it – breath desire.
