Feeding from words

·Absinthe Friend

Feeding from words Don't waste the words, breathe the feeling. Squeeze all the juice, from the meaning. These phrases and verse, induce dreaming. So be clothed by the fabrics they're weaving. As a reader, use all your five senses. Feel the touch, of the verbs and the tenses, As the power of prose, lifts defences, let the flow of ideas break the fences. This writer has, laid forth their whole. Left naked, exposed, bared their soul No need to respect or console Just suckle their purpose, their goal. To fill a blank page, with some meaning Not bitter, not crass, or demeaning. Just nectar, of sweet verbose streaming, To give taste to mouth that needs feeding.
