I look back My greatest are my sins, They shine, remind Myself unkind, Images stamped in your mind, The tears, the lies Forget my attempts My many tries To pass for human A soul that cries, Instead of a monster You all despise. And so I bit Clawed and tore, Flesh from bone, Blood from vein, Life to ash, soul to dust Fire smoulders on destroyed trust, All to let the darkness reign, Nothing left to mask the pain, The demon borne from all your hate And yet is I branded insane.
