Field of dreams
Phony emotions getting you down Same old sights, same old sounds You know there is more, hiding away Finding more bits of it every day A paranoid masquerade masking the grittiness People say they appreciate all kinds of prettiness Nobody's perfect, except for the wise one Of course they wont tell you that they're the disguised one People are saying that there's nothing to it They say it's like water you have to swim through it Imagine if worrying all became real Then people would care for how people feel But instead we bury our heads in the sand Waiting for the plane of our issues to land We say we are skating on very thin ice We say that solutions are far from precise It seems like our problems are never ending It seem like loved ones might be pretending Help seems like it is miles away You're making a lifetime out of a day.
