Fireflies In The Dark
As I look over my brief domain I contemplate something neither happy nor sad It just is, Fleeting beauty, come and gone, Bright spots against the black of night So brilliant, drawing your gaze You reach out to grab hold So desperate to protect To preserve Only to see it fade Like an echo, still held in the eye It was already gone It’s not happy or sad It just is, Fireflies in the dark.

Mental Journey
I am on a journey of the mind. Contemplating the universe on every scale, and doing a complete introspective exploration. I may never be a literary academic, but I share my humble thoughts in hope that they may inspire others.
