At the age of four, it was time to start my first day at school My dad's hand grasped my hand ever so tight For if he relaxed for one moment I would have taken flight To control my temper these teachers would have on their hands a terrible fight No one teacher was going to tell me what to do A four-year-old know it all and i would do what i wanted to do My dad took me into the classroom and said goodbye before he walked away As soon he was out of sight, I made a bolt for the door to make a getaway But the wicked teacher tackled me like she was in a rugby match play I was going to be a problem child she knew on that very first day I could tell that the other children were in shock and didn't know what to do Some hid under their tables and the others locked themselves in the loo She would tell the class to sit and cross their arms so I stood arms by my side When she wanted me to speak I would put my hand over my mouth When she told the class to be quiet I would laugh out loud In hindsight I think she was close to having a nervous breakdown All I know on that day i was making her mad, of which I was proud Then my dad came to take me home He asked what my first day at school was like and did I have fun He also asked me what did I do And I said that I hade done nothing that would interest you And that I couldn't wait. for day number two

I have a mental health illness and I was a inpatient in a private secure mental health hospital not because i was a danger to the public but because i myself was the only person who was in danger from me was myself and that will reflect in my poetry...
