he ran down the ladder in a most magnificient way touting to himself, he had the cure close to his chest he held, the answer, no one would know but him and him alone. he snickered and fell flat curious eyes wandered closer, sneaking a peek at the downtrodden fool laying there on his back with a goofy grin. mouth opened slightly suggesting a hint of madness. as his tongue slid down and out minutes before, they were laughing hours before, they planned everything down to the last detail days before, certain nothing would go wrong weeks before, a sure realization. and now?
