For a loved one
a smile can cure a heavy heart, a laugh can ease taut chains apart, a word can mend masked doubt or fear, and wash away a grieving tear. A trace of you stays strong in me, and there, it shall forever be, with a smile well worthy of Da Vincis' brush, and a laugh as vibrant as an autumn thrush, and every single word you shared, in this world still can be heard, a peerless soul has been set free, may eternal be your memory. a short eulogy i wrote in honour of a friend i once knew on thier second aniversary, rest in peace x
