For the Nice Guy
This is for the nice guy, who will regardless finish last. He spends his life alone, re-evaluating his past. How he could have saved it, how he could have changed. Making himself miserable, thinking he's the one to blame. He's hopelessly romantic, willing to give his heart. And everytime he opens up- it gets torn apart. He gives his all to please the girls. Each he thinks could be the one. And everytime he invests his heart, in no time, they are gone. So to this nice guy, who believes all is lost- remember this: anything worth having has a cost. Don't ever blame yourself, heartbreak is part of the deal. You're allowed to be hurt and sad, but all of that will eventually heal. Don't ever hold grudges. You'll only suffer more, While you stay hurt and angry... She will have moved on. So something to think about- "the icing on the cake": Just think, eventually, she'll realize, SHE made the mistake.
