For the poets

My love for poetry grows every day I feel as if I've so much more to say This is my way to express what I feel inside My way to show what I usually have to hide I hope to one day show this talent For it is a gift that's heaven sent But for now I'll keep these poems And only show them to those at home But if one day you hear of me Remember how I used to be And know that I got the one wish I had That I've let the world know why I'm sad Let the poets live for ever more And for them open every door I've found a way to live for longer Poetry has made me stronger I hope one day you'll find yours too I hope this not for me, but for all of you!
