For You Mom

It shouldn’t be on mothers’ day Neither should it be on women’s day Everyday is your day Mama The road has been long for you You’ve been through much It’s seems like yesterday to me Losing everything you have worked hard for My intentions are not to Bring back the hurting past Rather to say, Mama Look! We have made it, you have made it!! You have always been part of me I saw it all, who put you through it I know, yet was so young Always been courageous yet so fragile Never compromised, love you have given People judged, but you stood Even doubted but shelter you did give us Questioned your faith but you held your ground Look at the broken pieces God has put them together again the old and rotten He has replaced It’s hard to express my gratitude and my adoration for you Mama I’m proud of you Now we can only look back and wonder You see Ma how it’s working together I love you, I’m proud of you Mama May the Lord bless, keep you
