Forever?
Under the trees at night, when the silence crackles and the star bright silver light chills to the bone. You ask and I wonder, Search for an answer, grasping for one single thought put into words. Along branches and pathways the question travels Over the moss it skims, above the crawling, creeping underfoot unknowns. My whole life? Always? No excuses? I’ve always made good decisions in this place, taken the right path... asked the right questions, made whole and content by the night and the stars. You fit here, calm and quiet, strong and shining. I make my promise “Yes”
