Sitting here in the pit of shame My head hung, I lie unclaimed Worthless wretch, burdened with guilt Your life given your blood spilled. Of what you offer me I am unmistakably unworthy The repentant tears will flow and flow I don’t deserve the love you’ve shown Yet you forgive me Despite my faults and failures You’ve paid the price That I might live in You Forevermore A new beginning, after my many sins Once your word is spoken, a new adventure begins I surrender heart and soul, to your plans for me I will forevermore love you, You’re my destiny You’ve enclosed me with Your everlasting joy I’ve regained what the enemy destroyed I’m made whole once, You’ve made me complete Redeemed my strength, I will not be effete
