Forging A Bond
As he left her and went on his way Singing, “Every Breath You Take,” Her father inquired about his state He explained how he feels every day That song reminds me of her you see Every word explains the way I feel, This is the way I always want to be My certainty is as strong as steel I hate to tell you this my boy That song’s about a stalker, not love Should I think my daughter’s just a toy For you to possess, but never love He played the song and listened well Then realized it was sadly true He wailed, heart drug through hell Then ran off not knowing what to do She came outside to see what was wrong Her father told her the story She thought about where he’d gone Then followed him in quite a hurry In a place he took her when she was sad She found him as she knew she would She asked, “Why are you feeling bad? Please tell me. Do you think you could?” He explained about his song for her And told her she should walk away You’re too kind to have a stalker And his composure began to fray She gave him a hug and sat down And told him it would be alright “Because,” she said, lifting his frown “It seems you have a stalker to.” With one more thing in common found They forged a bond that night in town

Mental Journey
I am on a journey of the mind. Contemplating the universe on every scale, and doing a complete introspective exploration. I may never be a literary academic, but I share my humble thoughts in hope that they may inspire others.
