Fractions of Forever
If I leave you for a year, I'll be content to know, Within another hemisphere You set the night aglow And when I'd close my eyes to sleep, To God I make my plea, In dreams allow my heart to leap The distance 'cross the sea A year is, sadly, more than never, But little in degree, What is a fraction of forever?
