Francine She woke up naked Sheets crumpled Mascara running Tried to remember Where she was Who she was What had happened A memory Raised voices Music Laughter Leaning over a toilet An unfamiliar face A hand Leading She tried to move Couldn’t The pain One eye half-closed Hands tied Legs tied Tried to shout Couldn’t A door shutting A familiar face And panic.
