Frankie's Birthday

20 Feb 2013

·TheNightShift

It was Frankie’s twenty seventh birthday He sprinkled flowers from a watering can He could not recall planting any seeds Anyway there wasn’t really any water Anyway his flowers were just weeds His mother stood and watched her idiot son She cried for herself and what nature had done It was Frankie’s twenty seventh birthday He sprinkled flowers from a watering can And his eyes could not see any weeds Anyway there wasn’t really any can Anyway he had not planted any seeds Frankie looked up and said “Mama I love you” She cried for her son because she loved him too
