Freak
She walks hobbled That girl with a wobble Overtaken with desperation Wishing for freedom Release from chains She claws, crawls, chasing Elusive beautiful peace The door is found Safe and sound Place of refuge For she of freakish nature Deep in sanctuary Comes unexpected sight From wall to wall Crutches, braces Miniature prisons She cries and lays down All her deep burdens As she walks to the world Something dawns People pass by, she sees Everyone has a prison Everyone is a freak
