Friendship 2

What really makes a man a friend? Is it important that we two can blend? Can I contend with the time we spent? Or is it quality that matters in the end? How often I've felt alone without you Though at heart you're in fact so near Often too I'm silent though really blue When I know, me, you'll willing hear I still wonder if you'll be my friend If you'll forgive wrongs I can't amend But I hope that maybe one day you can That one day we'll walk hand in hand Certainly it is difficult to construe A mere smile a friendship creed But yes I'd say, the cliche is true A friend in need, is a friend indeed
