Friendship

most friends come and go, tho the honest and true might stay. the search of such friends seems endless. as does the darkness in each day. who are we if we cannot trust? a lonely race of pain and greed. an empty heart where no one loves... or were we all born to cry and bleed? I've tried to believe in friendship, though i have failed to honor my own. will God find grace for me with this? or will i be left, to die alone. most friends come and go, tho the honest and true may leave... the search of such friends seemed fruitful, as did the spread of my disease... This is the way life was meant to be.
