Friendship

A connection so close words can not explain Our two minds so intertwined, roots to a tree seem trouble-free, Time spent together felt like forever, I’d gladly take just another hour together. I wish I could tell you how much you mean to me, but I know it just wasn’t the same. I miss all the times we had together, they have been the best I’ve ever had Someone could go a life time without meeting someone like you I’m just glad I had a few good years with you. The memories of us will be with me forever, even as our friendship fades. I truly thought we’d always be close, but it seems time apart has ruined that For you met someone new who you like more than I. I can truly say he’s one lucky guy, he has the best treasure there is. Our friendship meant the world to me, and I just feel like its gone My world is collapsing and the person I lean on is no where to be found. It’s just something I have to over come, it’s just so hard when all you want in the world is the old friendship back. It’s something that will never happen, I know I wish I could go back in time, and do something differently to salvage the friendship we had, but I know I can’t. I Wish I could tell you how much you mean to me but I know what you’d say. “You mean so much to me to, but it just isn’t the same. Our friendship was great and now it’s okay, and good luck in the future, but it will never be how it was again. For I am different now and have found someone new, but im sorry it is just something I have to do. You still mean so much to me, and hope you feel the same, but this someone new has just replaced you.“
