I wrote this for a good friend of mine... I take a step forward, leave behind the past When I think of the future, I think of a blast We'll walk together, but sometimes we'll run But one thing's for sure; we'll always have fun You are my conscience, you are my friend You are my guidance till the very end We'll stick together, a pod and two peas I'll always say 'Bless You' whenever you sneeze So I pray for just one thing, and one thing alone That you feel the way I do and that you like my poem Remember me always, even when I'm not here And if you need me I'll always be near Thank you for being there in my times of need Thank you for listening and for taking the lead Now as I move on I know you are true And no matter what happens I'll always need you This is my wish and this is my prayer Just a little something to show you I care So now I leave and say good bye But we'll be together until we die!
