·Fin

The early hours of fateful night - too long Desired one waits just an inch from his reach Brazen smile greets but her lips form a warning: "You may not ever fall in love with me" No greater covet has seized him til this one She comes and goes in the ladybird's guise Ice eyes don't see him but her voice, it beckons A lulling swansong for weary demise He plays the hero in each of his nightmares Nemesis always goes by his own name Her whisper coaxes ideas of destiny He longs for more, thats when she turns away It's almost more than his young heart can bear One thousand years have elapsed since the day Cinnamon smoke fills his head, makes him strong Golden wings unfurl across shoulderblades Invoke the phoenix! Milleniums over Mage bird reborn from despair now alight His courage seething, its time to be something Time to find the meaning of his life This is your night and my hopes they fare with you You sought your purpose now its time to rise She wont be yours; but a gift for your troubles: The healing tears from deep aquiline eyes
