Join us Take your seat as the water stales Impale the meat with the skewers As fewer souls line these bowls Enjoy it Deploying quivers and shakes Only to quake your inner core Four courses to soothe the sore Collecting misconceptions Divided as we lie How much chaos will land before the wounded fly? Pry the bone then etch in stone: “Alone I walk, away I stray Off the current and into harm’s way Today I stand, bludgeoned and bruised Refusing it all until I can be with you.” R
