From the hospice garden
From the hospice garden so you’re lying dying, it’s all over soon do you think of all you’ve ever done from being born, living on death row knowing it will end but… so do you think about what’s been and gone from cave men to the space station or about the bloody revolutions and the many many executions from feisty frenchy bourgeoisies to trotsky and his red army do you then get philosophical about who out there knew it all was it nietzsche with his death of god or was the bible more than words do you think of all your family and how they’ll be upset to see you lying getting thin and ill waiting for this bag to fill do you cry and cry cause you know you’ll miss the simple birds and trees, all this do you look at those in power now asking why they ever made you frown do you wish you knew just what was coming do you wish you’d slept with a few more women do you panic cause it could go black should you try to beat this illness back or just accept it had to happen and tell the kids to keep on laughing cause in a million years or two there will not be a trace of you.

I'm into poetry that flows through me, more as an emotional art-form than a traditional construction, but I do appreciate most of it.
